Local food tours with a Stockholm focus

Our tours are built around reservation-based departures, clear meeting details, and a relaxed small-group format. We focus on market walks, neighborhood food routes, and private culinary routes that highlight local specialties without rushing the experience.

Guests often come to us for a first taste of Stockholm or for a deeper look at familiar districts. We keep the route practical, the communication clear, and the tastings well organized from the first request to the final stop.

Our story

A local way to taste Stockholm

We started with a simple idea: make local food culture easier to experience in a way that feels personal, informative, and well paced.

Explore Stockholm was founded in 2020 by Freja Lindström to bring together market visits, local specialties, and neighborhood context in one guided experience.

Each route is planned around the day, the group, and the tasting stops that are confirmed in advance. We also collect dietary information early so the experience can be prepared with care.

Our work is shaped by the details that matter during a food tour: where to meet, what to expect, how long the walk lasts, and what local context helps the route feel meaningful.
